EOTD: Enchanted
Before I start to ramble about the make-up look I'd like to say one thing: happy new year! I can't believe it's already 2013. I'm not really the type to make New Year's resolutions but I suppose I do have at least one goal in mind for 2013, moving out & getting my own place! Things seemed a little hopeless for a while because I couldn't find any apartments in the right price range, but now I've found the perfect organisation to help me out. I'm sure it will take some time to adjust to living alone which is something I don't particularly look forward to, but I also believe it will help me grow as a person which is kind of a lifetime goal ;)
But let's move on to the blog post! Today I wanted to post a brand new EOTD featuring lots of green eyeshadow and a hint of silver. Now that I have darker hair I love to experiment with dark shades (the kind you use to create smokey eyes with). I tried my best not to make this look too heavy though, for some reason I don't think the very dark looks suit me much...maybe it's because of my pale skin?
Well okay, I guess it's pretty hard not to look pale if you dye your hair darker, wear lots of black eyeliner and dress up in black. ;) Anyways, for the eyes I used the Bad girl eyeshadow palette from Sleek (I love the green shade called Intoxicated! I also used Envy, Gun metal, Noir and Gullible). Unfortunately shades like Intoxicated do absolutely nothing for my eyes though, so I decided to add some false eyelashes to spice things up a little. On the cheeks I applied a blush by Catrice (Raspberry ice cream) and on the lips I'm wearing a lipstick by L'Oreal called ''Shiny Grapefruit''. Love both products!
Did you make any New Year's resolutions?
