Review: Max Factor Lasting Performance foundation
I’m not super familiar with Max Factor products, so I was very curious about their Lasting Performance foundation! I do have a couple of their nail polishes and one of their mascaras, they are all great products so I couldn’t wait to find out how this foundation would work on me! I have the shade ‘natural beige’, I thought that it would be a bit too dark for me but it’s actually a pretty good match. Let’s take a look at what Max Factor says about this foundation:If you demand a lot from your make-up then Lasting Performance is the foundation for you. With a guaranteed 8 hours of stay put perfection, your complexion will look and feel fresher for longer. Specially designed, light weight silicones and a hard wearing touch proof system stand up to any amount of rubbing or touching and, unlike other oil based formulas, it doesn’t clog up your pores or irritate sensitive skin.
I got this foundation in a little Max Factor make-up set, so it’s not a full size. The little tube contains 15 ml, the full size version of this foundation contains 35 ml. I’m used to bottles of 30 ml (and they seem to last forever), so I thought 15 ml wasn’t so bad! The packaging is great for traveling as well. The full size is a lot bigger of course, but still some sort of 'squeeze tube'.
I quite like this foundation! It makes my face less shiny and the eyes less puffy looking. It also feels quite light and gives me a nice, natural looking finish. The staying power is fantastic, just use a bit of powder after applying this foundation and you are ready to go! It was also easy to blend (I used a sponge to apply this) and a little bit of it goes a long way. Okay, you won’t really get full coverage and there’s no SPF in it, but I definitely like it! It gives me a nice coverage and it feels and looks natural. The ladies in the UK can find this at Boots for 10 pounds, over here you'll have to pay around 16 Euro (boo). But if you can miss that amount of money, I'd give it a try!
What is your favourite foundation?
