The Urban Decay Eyeshadow Primer Potion

Ask a girl 'What is your favourite eyeshadow primer?' and there's a 90% chance that she will reply with 'The Urban Decay eyeshadow primer potion!'. I was really curious about this product because it's so well-known in the beauty world. So far I've always been using a base to give my eyeshadow a boost, but it didn't stop them from creasing. It was time to test a primer! And what could be a better candidate than the UDPP? Here's what they say about their famous primer potion:
This miracle eyeshadow primer is unmatched by any other in the beauty industry! The genie in this bottle fulfills three wishes: eyeshadow that lasts, more vibrant and lasting color, and absolutely NO creasing. Apply Primer Potion to lids before shadow application. It dries down almost instantly (and invisibly), creating smooth lids that are super powered eyeshadow magnets.

The formula is full of silicone, which you beauty mavens know makes for a smooth and silky application. Packaged in a pretty genie bottle, our Potion applies with a magic wand and flocked applicator.
I have the mini version but on their website you can also find the normal primer potion (a full-size primer potion contains 10ml and costs $18) and the XL primer potions (you get 16,3 ml for $23). At first I was a bit disappointed that the smaller version only contains 3.7 ml of product but a little bit really goes a long way! I got my travel size primer potion as an 'extra' when I got the Naked Palette, but you can also buy it for $8.

The Original primer potion comes in a nude shade and dries invisibly. You can also buy the 'Sin' version, which is a Champagne shade with shimmer and 'Eden', that one has a Beige colour and a matte finish. Anyways, I have the Original one and I have to say that I really like it! It dries fast and it easily blends into my skin. But the most important question: does it prevent creasing?

To find that out, I decided to test the primer potion to see if it was really that good. I used a couple of eyeshadows that always start to crease after a couple of hours, but this time they stayed in place and didn't crease! The price of this product is still a bit of a bummer, I think that $18 dollars (for the full-size bottle) is pretty expensive. The packaging is not really the best either, but you can also get the primer in a tube. I think that it does an amazing job, so if you're looking for a good primer the UDPP is a great option!

Do you own a bottle of this or do you use a different primer/base?
