LE Sleek Sparkle Palette
Sleek is one of my favourite make-up brands out there, I just love their versatile eyeshadow palettes. 12 eyeshadows for a couple of pounds, who doesn't love a bargain like that? I got my hands on the gorgeous Sparkle palette, one of the nicest Sleek palettes I've seen so far. Time for a review and some swatches!
First of all, the design of the box is just gorgeous. I'm a sucker for pretty packaging and one look at this was more than enough to make me fall in love with this palette. The palette itself has the well-known black case, with this being my fourth palette I think I have to start labeling them!
Even though the name is 'Sparkle', I was still surprised when I opened this palette, the colours look really nice and shimmery. I'm glad that the latest eyeshadow palettes finally have eyeshadows with names, it makes talking about the colours a lot easier!
Here's a closer look at the colours. Cranberry is a sparkly hot pink (almost red) shade. Dream maker is a sparkly grey/blue colour and Galactic is a bit of a cobalt blue. Illusion is a sparkly deep plum, Festive is a sparkly royal purple and Mistletoe is a deep moss green with sparkles.
Twinkle is more of a royal blue (again, sparkly of course!), Star light is a sparkly dark grey shade and Noir is a matte black. Glitz & Glamour is a very deep grey/black with sparkles, Gold Ribbon is a shimmery gold/yellow and Tinsel is a shimmery silver shade.
Here are the swatches of the first row, I've swatched all of the colours with Milk by Nyx as a base. These eyeshadows are very soft but a bit crumbly, I think that the sparkles look gorgeous though!
And here are the swatches of the second row. Illusion and Festive are very alike but as a purple lover I don't really mind, together with Cranberry they are my favourite shades.
A quick eye look with my 3 favourite colours. On the eyes, the colours aren't as sparkly as I thought they would be but the pigmentation of this palette is absolutely stunning! If you can get your hands on this palette (some webshops still have it in stock) I'd buy it!Do you have any of the Sleek palettes?
