MUA (or Makeup Academy) is a very budget proof Superdrug brand, everything in this range is just a pound! I love a good bargain, so I really wanted to try some of their products. They sell a lot of different things like nail polish, eyeliner and blushes. You can find the site here in case you haven't seen this brand before.

I'm going to swatch 3 of their single eyeshadows today. I have two of the lipsticks as well, but they will follow later. As you can see above, all three of them are purple which is one of my favourite colours! Here are some close-ups:

This is shade 18, a matte colour. A very soft and pretty lavender shade. It's a little less pigmented than the other two.

Here we have shade 13, this one has a pearl finish. It's a very dark shade of violet (a nice combination of black and purple) and wel pigmented.

This pretty one is shade 9, it has a pearl finish as well. It gave me a bit of a 'baked eyeshadow' feeling. It also has a blue duochrome, this means it shifts between different colours depending on the angle.

I swatched them on top of Milk and dry, I think that shade 13 and 9 look great without a base. Shade 18, the matte one, could use the extra help. I heard that the matte shades from the MUA range aren't as good as the others, so I wasn't very surprised. It looks very nice on top of a base though, so I still like it a lot.

My conclusion: I like these! If they sold them in my country, I'd definitely get a whole bunch of them. These eyeshadows are cheap and Superdrug sells a lot of nice colours that make me think of Fall. I'd be skeptical of the matte colours because I don't think that they are very pigmented, but for a pound these eyeshadows are worth a try.
