Sephora make-up swatches
Hello everyone! I bought some make-up during a sale and today I'm going to show the lipstick and eyeshadow swatches. I've also bought a foundation but I'm going to wait with reviewing that until I'm sure that it doesn't break me out or anything. My sister also got a few items, so I swatched those as well! :)
Here are my eyeshadows, a pretty shimmery shade of purple called Caroline's pride and a matte medium brown called Red Wine.
They are nicely pigmented, not amazing (it takes a few swipes) but definitely not disappointing either. They look even nicer with a base. When you use them on the eyes they'll blend nicely, although I find it hard to apply the colour evenly when I use these two.
I wanted to compare them to some other brands and similar colours, so here we have Caroline's pride (in the middle) next to some other purples.
And here we have Red wine next to a couple of brown ish colours.
My sister's items: a lipstick and an eyeshadow. Both of them are very wearable colours.
The eyeshadow is a very light colour with glitter called Carine. It's not extremely pigmented, but it gives a nice effect if you apply it on top of something.
The lipstick is called Mauve emotion, unfortunately they only put the name on the plastic that's wrapped around the product when you buy it. You can find the number on the tube and on the website you can find the matching name, but I just like to see names on lipsticks. (They put the name of the collection on there too after all).
Without a base it's hard to see the colour, especially in sunlight. It does look better in real life, because now you can't see the subtle glitter very well. The lipstick is gorgeous, it gives the lips a little bit of colour but it's nothing too crazy.I'm glad that I got my eyeshadows during a sale, because I wouldn't pay the full price for them. They are lovely, but pretty expensive for a single eyeshadow. They do sell a lot of colours (80+ eyeshadow shades!) and the names are pretty fun and unique. You can swatch them in the store, which is also very nice. Some of their colours weren't that amazing, so I'd definitely try them out first. (All of the products do come wrapped in easy-to-remove plastic, so I do give the store thumbs up for Hygiene!)

yay! I love looking at sephora swatches, especially since it's hard to find them online!
Thanks for the swatches and I agree, the eyeshadows are too expensive for the quality.:D

I do like Caroline's Pride. How much did you pay for these? And how much are they normally? If you don't mind me asking of course.
Those are all pretty colors and perfect for fall XOXO
looks good!
