Out of milk!

The jumbo eye pencil in the colour 'Milk' is one of my favourite products. It works great as a base and highlighter, although I mainly use it as a base for my make-up and swatches. That means that I use it a lot, so I knew sooner or later...it would need a bit of help. Some people depot these pencils, others sharpen them. Depotting them takes more effort but sharpening wastes some of the product. Now I'm really not a fan of wasting product, although depotting wasn't really an option to me. When I depotted my old base it started to dry out quickly, so I was worried about something like that happening again. I like the pencil to stay a pencil, so I decided to buy a big sharperner for it...

Thankfully, I didn't have to waste that much product. And even though it's creamy, it was pretty easy to sharpen as well. If you do have some trouble with it, you could always freeze the pencil until it becomes harder and try again. If you'd prefer to have it in a pot, you can go to youtube and search for some 'depot nyx milk' videos :)

And the milk is back in stock ;) I'm really happy to have my favourite base back. Some people say these pencils crease horribly, but I never experienced that with Milk (my pencil in Black bean does crease a lot though). Just use a thin layer and blend it well.

So, if you're looking for a affordable base (or highlighter perhaps) this one is the one I'd recommend. It's very pigmented, easy to throw into your bag and does its job well. I'm not a fan of Black bean because it does crease when I use it and I don't own any of the other jumbo pencils, but Milk gets an A+.

Hmm, klinkt eigenlijk best goed. Ik gebruik normala gesproken losse poeder maar dit is ook een goeie oplossing. Liefs, xxxx
