Okay, so I didn't really go on a real date tonight (just to the movies with a friend) but I thought it would be fun to do my eyes in a 'first date' kind of style. When I think of first dates and make-up, I think of the colour pink, softness and defined eyes. During the process my mascara was absolutely driving me crazy but I'm pretty satisfied with the rest.

I just used a soft shade of pink, a tiny bit of black gel liner (I applied a black eyeshadow over it to set the line & make it look softer) and another eyeshadow (a shade lighter than my skin) to blend everything. Tiny bit of brown in the crease, some eyeliner and mascara and I was done!

We watched 'Going the Distance' together, I liked it although I'm not a fan of the pretty obvious sexual humour in movies. Thankfully, it had some other fun bits in it as well. I actually wanted to see Inception at first but my friend thought it would be too scary (pft!). Romantic comedy is always the safe option we go for, well, as long as I get my popcorn I'm fine ;)

Speaking about popcorn, sweet or salted? I'm going for sweet!
